Guest Talk on Goal Setting organized by Motivational Club, Agricultural College,Adilabad on 06.04.2024

A guest talk on Goal setting was organized by Motivation Cell, Agricultural College, Adilabad to the BSc. (Hons.) Ag. I year students, Agricultural College, Adilabad at classroom on 6.4.2024 F.N. At the outset, Dr. K. Bhanu Rekha, Officer I/C Motivation Club, welcomed the guest speaker Sri. Salla Vijay Babu. Retd. Prof. & Founder Nalanda Degree College, Adilabad, Associate Dean, Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, teaching staff and students to the guest lecture. A brief bio-data of the guest speaker was presented by Dr. K. Bhanu Rekha to the audience. It was followed by a guest lecture on “Goal setting”. The guest speaker Sri. Salla Vijay Babu highlighted importance of a goal and the principles to be followed in achieving the goals. The presentation also focused on the do’s and don’ts in achieving the targeted goals apart from many success stories of many individuals in various fields (Govt., Private, banking, Soft ware , Civil Services and other Sectors at national and International level). The lecture was an insight into morals and ethics and their significance in life. It also consisted of tips to avoid stress apart from timely planning schedule towards achieving the targeted goals. The speaker also emphasized the importance of Yoga and physical exercise in reaching the goals. The guest lecture followed a fruitful interaction between students and guest speaker on achieving dual and multiple goals. Later, on behalf of all the B.Sc (Hons.) I year students, two girls and one boy student gave feedback on the programme and expressed their gratitude to the College authority for arranging the guest lecture. The programme ended with the vote of thanks presented by the Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean Ag. College, Adilabad.
