KVK, Malyal has organized “World Meteorological Day” under DAPSC (SCSP), 2023-24 at Kantaipalem village of Thorrur Mandal on 23-03-2024 under the theme of ‘At the Frontline of Climate Action.”. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), Co-PI of this project, explained about how Climate change is a real and undeniable threat to agriculture and allied sector, The effects are already visible in some of the crops, how weather and climate predictions help boost agriculture production and move closer to high net returns in crops. In this programme Sri J. Sai Kiran YP-II, ICAR-CICR Cotton project, and 25 no. of farmers from Kantaipalem village participated.
