Agricultural College, Palem- Report on birthday (jayanthi) celebration of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji, freedom fighter on 27.09.2022

As per the instructions received from the Registrar, PJTSAU vide Cir.Memo.No.10276/SC/A1/2002, dated 23.09.2022, Agricultural College, Palem has Celebrated the Birthday (Jayanthi) of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji, Freedom fighter on 27.09.2022. The Programme was started with a welcome address by Dr. S.Srinivasa Reddy, Asst. Professor (Ento.), OISA. The Associate Dean Dr. Pushpavathi and Administrative Officer, M. Dasharatha have offered garlands to Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji and later teaching, non-teaching, outsourcing staff and students were offered floral tribute. Few Pushpavathi, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Palem said about contirbutions of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji in frredon fight, battle against the Nizam and Razaakars during the Telangana armed struggle in 1947-48, non-mulki agitation in 1952 and his impetus role in Telangana Statehood agitation in 1969 and 2008 onwards. She also encouraged the Students to bring laurels to university by bringing JRF ranks. All the teaching , non-teaching staff along with a total of 148 students were participated in the programme.
