Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji at College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur on 27.09.2022

The College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur celebrated 107th birth anniversary of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji on 27th September, 2022. All the students, teaching, non-teaching and outsourcing staff attended the programme and offered floral tributes to Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji on this occasion. After this the teaching, non-teaching and students were given speeches about Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji. Dr. R. Swamy, Associate Dean addressed the students about this state function and spoken about Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji. He recollected about Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji as a reknowned freedom fighter, Telangana activist and a politician. He also stressed his struggles for the Statehood of Telangana. He also said about the role of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji in the quit India movement (1942), Telangana liberation movement (1947-48) and First Telangana State Formation Movement (1952-69). He encouraged all the staff to be responsible for each and every activity and work with commitment for the growth of the institute. The programme ended with Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Officer in charge, Student Activities proposing vote of thanks.
