RARS, Palem - Celebration of birth anniversary of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji on 27th September, 2022

Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji Jayanthi was celebrated at Regional Agricultural Research station, Palem on 27th September, 2022 to commemorate his 107th birth anniversary. The programme was started with garlanding the photo of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji by Dr. M. Goverdhan, Associate Director of Research, Palem. Later all the teaching, non teaching and ministerial staff of RARS, Palem offered the floral tributes to Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji. While addressing the gathering, Dr. M. Goverdhan, Associate Director of Research has detailed about Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji and his battle against the Nizam and the Razaakars during the Telangana armed struggle in 1947-48 and he also emphasized that, horticultural university named as Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University, in honour and memory of Sri Bapuji. Further, highlighted that, all the staff should work hard and deliver their contributions for the better livelihood of farming community in the state.
