CELEBRATION OF 129th BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF VEERANARI ILAMMA AT COLLEGE OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, RUDRUR ON 26.09.2024

The College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur celebrated 129th birth anniversary of Veeranari Ilamma on 26th September, 2024. All the students, teaching, non-teaching and outsourcing staff attended the programme and offered floral tributes to Veeranari Ilamma on this occasion. After this the teaching, non-teaching and students were given speeches about Veeranari Ilamma. Dr.D.Kalpana, Associate Dean addressed the students about this state function and spoken about Veeranari Ilamma. She recollected about Veeranari Ilamma a revolutionary leader and freedom fighter during the Telangana rebellion. She also stressed her struggles for the Statehood of Telangana. She encouraged all the staff to be responsible for each and every activity and work with commitment for the growth of the institute. The programme ended with Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Officer in charge, Student Activities proposing vote of thanks.
