Sri. Bhagya Reddy Varma birth anniversary celebrations at Agricultural College, Warangal on 23-05-2022

Birth anniversary of Sri. Bhagya Reddy Varma was celebrated at Agricultural College, Warangal on 23-05-2022 at 11:30 AM. Dr. M. Balram, Associate Dean, garlanded the photo of Bhagya Reddy Varma and paid floral tributes. All the teaching, non-teaching staff and students attended the programme and paid homage to Sri. Bhagya Reddy Varma with flowers. On this occasion Dr. M. Balram, Associate Dean stated that Bhagya Reddy Varma fought for abolition of Jogini and Devdasi systems, educated many Dalit children raised voice against discrimination by upper castes and established the Adi Hindu, a social organisation, to bring awareness to the Dalits. He also mentioned that Sri. Bhagya Reddy Varma was an Indian political leader, social reformer and activist and fought against untouchability in Hyderabad State.
