Celebration of Sri Bagya Reddy Varma Jayanthi on 22.05.2022 at RARS, Jagtial

• Celebrated 134th birth anniversary of Sri Bagya Reddy Varma on 22.05.2022 at RARS, Polasa, Jagtial.
• Dr. M. Uma Devi, RARS, Polasa, Jagtial, garlanded and paid floral tributes to Sri Bagya Reddy Varma.
• In this programme teaching, non teaching staff of RARS, Jagtial and staff, students of APT, Jagtial have participated and offered floral tributes to Sri Bagya Reddy Varma.
• The ADR, Jagtial on this occasion said that, he was an Indian political and Deccan revolution leader, social reformer and activist. He fought against untouchability in Hyderabad State. He also fought for abolition of Jogini and Devdasi systems.
• All the teaching, non teaching staff and APT, Jagtial, Students delivered informative speech on life history of Sri Bagya Reddy Varma and also highlighted his achievements and contributions. Emphasized on protests against social injustices faced by people belonging to backward castes in Hyderabad State.
• Dr.P.Ravi, Scientist (Soil Science), P.R.O i/c, involved in making the arrangements for this programme along with Vice Principal, APT, Jagtial.
• In this programme all the scientists, non teaching staff of RARS, Jagtial and staff, students of APT, Jagtial have participated.
