14th National Symposium of IAUA on “Creating Enabling Ecosystem in Agricultural Universities for Agri tech innovations: Challenges and Opportunities" at PJTSAU, University Auditorium, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on 09-06-2022

14th National Symposium of IAUA on “Creating Enabling Ecosystem in Agricultural Universities for Agri tech innovations: Challenges and Opportunities” has been concluded on 10-06-2022. This symposium was jointly organized by the Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) and Indian Agricultural Universities Association (IAUA). Dr V Praveen Rao, VC PJTSAU, Dr RK Mittal, President, IAUA and Dr RM Chauhan, VC, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Gujarat addressed in the final wrap up session. While speaking in wrap up session Dr. Praveen Rao, has said that, the knowledge societies are the need of the hour in the agricultural sector, and need to evolve different models to address the future challenges in the sector he added. These models should bring in the transformation pathways. Dr. R.K. Mittal, President, IAUA, had stressed the need of the academia industry interaction for creating enabling environments for the technology development in the agriculture. And a separate unit has to be established in all the universities to ensure the industry academia interactions Said Dr Mittal. Technology development and management unit is also very much essential in universities; also establish the technology parks for showcasing of the modern innovations in this sector he added. Dr. R.M. Chauhan, VC, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Gujarat was also spoke on this occasion, Dr Seema, Dean of Agriculture, PJTSAU had presented the symposium recommendations Dr V Anitha, Dean PG Studies, PJTSAU had proposed vote of thanks.
