60th College Day Celebrations-2024 of College of Community Science

College of Community Science, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad organized 60th College Day Celebrations-2024 on 18/05/2024. All the staff and UG, PG and PhD students participated in the celebration. Dr. V. Viyaya Lakshmi, Dean and Associate Dean of College of Community Science, delivered the welcome address and presented the college day report where it includes significant achievements of college throughout the year. Dr. N. Siddoji Rao, founder and managing trustee of helpdesk charitable trust (Former Director of Education, Govt of AP (undivided) addressed the students. He highlighted on rights of women, and also explained how educated person can bring a change in the society by appropriate examples. He also stated importance of grip on at least one language that will help in excel in education. Prof. M.Vijjulatha, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayam emphasised on importance of entrepreneur and development of value added products and their commercialization. She also cushioned about misuse of social media especially during teenaged and stressed on importance of family bonding. Dr. P Raghu Rami Reddy, Registrar, PJTSAU, Hyderabad, brought the attention on the relevance of community science in light of changing society needs. He congratulated faculty and students for the academic and co-curricular achievements and he highlighted on development and popularization of new advanced technologies. Later SMRITI College Magazine was released by the dignitaries. The programmes followed with prize distribution in academic, cultural, literary, forming arts, sport and athletics to the winners. The programme was concluded with cultural activities by the students.
