6th Foundation Day Celebrations of PJTSAU at RARS, Warangal

Regional Agricultural Research station, Warangal celebrated Sixth foundation day of PJTSAU in a befitting manner on 03.09.2020. The day started with offering floral tributes to Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar in the office premises. All the staff members of RARS, Warangal and Regional Accounts Office, CTZ, RARS, Warangal participated in the occasion. Later, the staff has attended the live web streaming of the Foundation day celebrations of PJTSAU from Headquarters. In the afternoon, Dr. P. Jagan Mohan Rao, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal convened a general meeting of all the staff members including time scale workers, outsourcing employees and addressed the gathering. In his address, apprised the gathering about the achievements of the university vis-a-vis CTZ and also underlined important reforms taken up by the University for improving the work efficiency, transparency and competitiveness of the staff. He opined that we should not be complacent with our achievements so far and should strive hard to achieve further. He also congratulated the PJTSAU awardees of RARS, Warangal Dr. B. Sathish Chandra, Scientist (Plant breeding), AICRP on Rice for getting PJTSAU Best Research Scientist award and Sri. Narendra Babu, AEO for getting Best appreciation certificate. He also congratulated all other awardees from Central Telangana Zone.
