Independence Day celebrations on 15-08-2020, at RARS, Palem

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Palem has celebrated 74th Independence Day on 15-08-2020 at 9.00 am. On this occasion, Dr. C.V.Sameer Kumar, PS (Millets), and all teaching, non-teaching and Ministerial staff of RARS, Palem were participated by following measures like using mask and maintaining social distance in Flag Hoisting ceremony. First of all, the national flag was hoisted by Dr. C.V.Sameer Kumar, PS (Millets) and all in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation. Later Dr. C.V. Sameer Kumar gave impressive speech about the historic day and the efforts of numerous freedom fighters of India and said that the sovereignty and integrity of the country should be maintained. He also stressed on safety measures to be taken by all teaching and non teaching staff during COVID-19 pandemic period. The programme was ended with the distribution of refreshments.
