76th Independence Day celebrations at Agricultural College, Warangal

Agricultural College, Warangal celebrated the 76th Independence Day on 15th August, 2022. The Associate Dean Dr. M. Balram has unfurled the national flag and paid floral tributes to freedom fighters. On this occasion, Associate Dean addressed the gathering about the importance of Independence Day and specified about the great sacrifices of the freedom fighters who lost their lives just to make their motherland free from the British rule. On the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence, he told how india is progressed in agriculture, technology, pharmacy and finance in the past 75 years. He mentioned that, In agriculture, India reached self sufficiency in food grains and even exporting few commodities to the world but need to improve on pulses and oilseeds production. He also specified that, we India became one of the strongest countries in fighting against COVID-19 with vaccination programme in the world. He said that by remembering the great sacrifices of freedom fighters, we should maintain the spirit of brotherhood, peace and contribute to the glory of our country. Later, students performed for a song on patriotism by holding the national flag. All Teaching, non-teaching and out sourcing staff participated in the celebrations by following all the measures of COVID-19.
