Independence Day Celebrations on 15.08.2022, at RARS, Palem

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Palem has celebrated 761h Independence Day (Swama Bharatha Vajrotsavalu, 75 years of Independence of India) on 15.08.2022 at 9.00 am. On this occasion, the campus was decorated with lightening and illumination. In these celebrations, Dr. M. Goverdhan, Associate Director of Research, Dr. M. Sujatha, PS (Oilseeds), Dr. Ramakrishna Babu, DAATIC Coordinator and all Teaching, Non-teaching and Ministerial staff of Regional Agricultural Research Station, Krishi Vignan Kendra, teaching staff and Students of Agricultural Polytechnic College, Palem were participated in Flag Hoisting ceremony. The National flag was hoisted by Dr. M. Goverdhan, ADR, Palem and all the staff in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation. Later, Dr. M. Goverdhan, ADR, Palem gave impressive speech about the historic day and the efforts of numerous freedom fighters of India and said that the sovereignty and integrity of the country should be maintained. The programme was ended with the distribution of refreshments.
