Chinese Delegation visit to PJTSAU, Hyderabad on 14-06-2019

The Chinese Delegation led by Ms. Zhou Dan, executive vice president of Longping University has visited the Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University on 14-06-2019. The visit of the Chinese delegation was coordinated by the Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation Ltd. The five member delegation of Longping University had met and interacted with the Vice Chancellor, PJTSAU, Dr. V. Praveen Rao and Registrar, Dr. S. Sudheer Kumar and other University Officers at committee hall in administrative building at Rajendranagar. Dr. V. Praveen Rao has explained about the university activities as well as the hybrid rice seed production in the State. He added that, the higher officials from the University shall visit the Longping University to study the training programs. Dr V. Praveen Rao, further added that, if required a memorandum of understanding would signed between two Universities.

The Longping delegation has shown keen interest to have strong collaboration for organising trainig programs in the state. The Longping University is interested to introduce high tech, and its research & development base and promotion of hybrid rice in Hyderabad and explore opportunities for further cooperation in agriculture related fields in India. Later, Vice Chancellor had felicitated the delegates with Telangana handloom shawl and memento. The University Officers of PJTSAU, Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation also participated in the interactive meeting.
