DIGITAL AUDIO CONFERENCE AT RARS, WARANGAL on 04-05-2020

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Warangal organized a Digital Audio Conference in Collaboration with Reliance Foundation under Covid-19 Response Digital Programme Support involving 44 farmers from 5 mandals of Warangal (Rural and Urban) districts, on 04-05-2020 at RARS, Warangal. Dr. P. Jagan Mohan Rao, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal addressed the farmers and gave message on Covid-19 preventive measures to be taken especially during Agricultural operations and marketing. Apart from these, farmers’ queries’ on quality parameters of produce, problems encountered in disposal of produce, growing fine grain rice varieties vis-à-vis bold grain rice varieties were addressed. Dr. S. Malathi, Principal Scientist (Entomology), Rice Section, RARS, Warangal briefed about summer plant protection measures to be taken up during May, to avoid pest problems in ensuing Kharif. Sri. G. Ramesh, Manager, Reliance Foundation (Warangal region) coordinated the meeting.
