KVK, Kampasagar distributed Green gram seed (WGG 42) under SC Sub Plan and conducted method demonstration seed treatment with Rhizobium culture on 09-11-2021
Under SC Sub Plan, KVK, Kampasagar conducted training programme on package of practices in Green gram and distributed Green gram seed variety WGG 42 along with Rhizobium culture to the SC farmers of Venkatardipalem Village, Anumula Mandal, Nalgonda Dist., on 09.11.2021. Dr. M. Shankariah, Programme Coordinator & Head, KVK, Kampasagar briefed about the importance of pulses in our daily dietary intake and explained about fertilizer management for Green gram and also stressed on crop diversification. Dr. M. Shankar, SMS (Plant Protection) explained the different management practices like Integrated Pest Management for sustainable yield. Smt. S. Pallavi, SMS (Extension) conducted method demonstration on Seed treatment of Green gram with Rhizobium culture. A. Sai Kiran, SMS (Agrometeorology) briefed the importance of Weather and collected mobile number for Advisory dissemination. In this progarmme G. Satyanarayana, AEO, Haliya and 20 farmers were participated.
