KVK, Kampasagar organized Soil Health Card Day and created awareness on Soil Testing at Boraipalem, Tripuraram on 19.02.2020. Dr. M. Shankar, Programme Coordinator i/c, KVK, Kampasagar addressed the farmers about importance Soil testing.Dr. T.Bharath, Scientist (Crop Production) cum Programme Incharge, KVK,Kampasagar explained the scheme aims at promoting soil test based and balanced use of fertilisers to enable farmers to realise higher yields at lower cost. Also the main objective is to aware growers about the appropriate amount of nutrients for the concerned crop depending on the quality of soil. KVK Scientists S.Pallavi, A.Sai Kiran, Programme Assistant K. Srinivas, Sarpanch other Public represantatives and farmers (40 No.) of Nalgonda District were participated. Finally KVK scientist distributed Soil Health Cards to farmers.
