KVK, Palem organized nutritional awareness program at Gorita Village on 18-12-2020

Krishi vigyan Kendra, Palem has organized an awareness program on Nutritional security under NARI project and explained about importance of growing Nutrigarden at home. Dr. Afifa Jahan SMS (Home Science) has explained about importance of growing what we eat and eating what we grow. Distributed 30 kitchen garden kits to SC farmers and farm women under SC Sub Plan. The program was attended by 30 farmers and farm women, Shri. Murali Reddy (village Sarpanch), 2 Anganwadi teachers and 2 ASHA workers. For the year 2021 Gorita Village of Thimajipet mandal of Nagarkurnool district has been selected as Nutri Smart village for NARI project.
