Organised Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan –III programme and Distribution of Yasangi Sorghum Minikits on 25-09-2020 at Tribal village: Pandiri Madara, Mandal: Tiryani, Komurum Bheem Asifabad (Aspirational district)

KVK Bellampalli Mancherial organized the Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan –III programme at tribal village Pandiri Madara of tiryani mandal of Komurum bheem Asifabad (Aspirational district). In this programme, farmers were trained on the Importance in the formation of FPOs, importance of Pandal formation, Kitchen gardening. Later, distributed Yasangi Jowar Minikits SVT68 v/s M-35-1 (Check). Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Programme Coordinator, KVK Mancherial briefed the men and women farmers about the importance of FPOs, importance of Pandal formation, kitchen gardening. Further he added that, farmers should cultivate vegetables to meet the nutritional supplements. Especially the pregnant ladies should be supplied with healthy diet containing all the vegetables. For this each and every farmer has to maintain the kitchen gardens at their backyards as mandatory he stressed. Dr. Shivakrishna Kota SMS (Extension) addressed the gathering on the Agri Infrastructure Funds and other benefits provided to the Farmers by NABARD. The provided funds should be utilized or made possible by forming the Farmer Producing Organisations with 300 number of farmers. Smt. Ullangula Sravanthi SMS (Horticulture) addressed the farmers about the pandal farming. Kitchen gardening and detailed about the sowing time of winter vegetables. For this programme, Keshav Rao, MPTC, Sri.A. Shekar, Senior Project Coordinator (Horticulture), NABARD, field officer, 32 number of men and women farmers.
