The Mahaparinivaran Diwas (67th vardhanthi) was observed at Agricultural College on 6.12.2023. At the outset the Associate Dean, Dr Sreedhar Chauhan had addressed the teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students regarding the importance of the day along with the meaning of the day. He also emphasized on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s, life, his contributions to the society apart from significant positions in Indian politics, his services rendered for the betterment of the underprivileged people in the society. The address also had a special focus on the educational background, ideas of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in carving the Indian constitution. It was followed by floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar by the Associate Dean, Dr. Sreeddhar Chauhan. The teaching faculty, Dr. B. Rajeswasri, Professor, Plant Pathology, DR. K. Bhanu Rekha Professor, Agronomy, Dr. G. Anitha, Associate Professor, Entomology also offered floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar followed by the teaching Associates, non- teaching staff and students floral tributes. The programme ended with vote of thanks presented by the Officer Incharge of Student Affairs, Dr. M. Suresh.
