Agricultural College, Jagtial - INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF MILLETS -2023 on 25-03-2023

“Cooking competitions for students with Millet recipes” was organized at Agricultural College, Polasa, Jagtial, on 25-03-2023 as part of International Year of Millets -2023 celebrations. The programme was inaugurated by College Associate Dean Dr. Bharathi Narayan Bhat. During the programme Associate Dean briefly explained about advantages of millet foods in diet and safety precautions during cooking to the students. Students are actively participated in this programme and prepared 16 different millet based food items. Dr. Jhansi Rani, Professor and Head, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding and team evaluated Millet recipes prepared by the students. NSS Programme Officers Dr. G. Satyanarayana Reddy, Dr. T. Yella Goud, all other teaching and non teaching staff are participated in this programme.
