Agricultural College, Sircilla - Poshan Abhiyan programme conducted at Adopted Village on 06.09.2022

Committee members of village adoption programme. Dr. V. Bharathi, Professor (Plant Pathology), Dr. A. Madhavi, Asst. Professor, (Soil Science), Dr. M. Sampath Kumar Asst. Professor (Ag. Extension) and Mr. Uma Rajashekhar, Asst.Professor (Ag. Microbiology) had conducted the awareness programme on “Poshan abhiyaan” at the adopted village as a part of national service scheme. In this Programme Prof. Dr. V. Bharathi explained about the importance of the programme and also nutritional diet for children and pregnant women. Mr. Uma Rajashekhar explained about the importance of various vitamins and sources of vitamin food. Dr. A. Madhavi and Dr. M. Sampath Kumar explained about physical activities for children. Head master of Primary school Sri. Naresh garu and Sarpanch Sri. Parsharamulu expressed happiness and satisfaction for the interest shown by the Agricultural College, Sircilla for conducting the programme at the adopted village.
