Agricultural College, Warangal – Village adoption Programme – Awareness creation on Cotton - Red Gram intercropping and distribution of Red gram seed on 04.07.2023

In view of late arrival of monsoon and to encourage farmers for crop diversity, Kothapeta village farmers are motivated to cultivate Cotton - Red gram inter cropping by Village adoption team on 04.07.2023 at Kothapeta. As frontline demonstration, to inter crop with cotton as well as to raise as sole crop, distributed Red gram seed WRGE 93 (Telangana Kandi 1) to the farmers. Further, nutrient management based on soil analysis with the farmers who tested their soil is discussed.
