Agricultural College, Warangal - Village adoption Programme - Demonstration on Drone spraying Technology on 14-02-2023

Village adoption team of Agricultural college, Warangal coordinated with Garuda aerospace Pvt. Ltd. Created awareness on drone technology to the Adopted village farmers and demonstrated spray fluid application in maize crop on 14.02.2023. In this programme Assistant professors of the college Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra (AEXT), Dr. B. Raju (SSAC), Mr. Vignyan, A.O, five RAWEP students and 16 farmers were participated. Doubts and myths of farmers and students regarding flying of drone and nozzle sprays are clarified during this session. It is felt that, crop specific standardization of various spray fluid dosages through drone spraying is yet to be improved for farmers level adoption of this technology.
