Agricultural College, Warangal – Village adoption Programme – Demonstration of Seed treatment for Red gram seed on 11.07.2023

Seed treatment for Red gram seed was demonstrated to the farmers at Kothapeta village on 11.07.2023. Carbendazim (Bavistin) used as fungicide as 3gm/Kg seed and PSB at 10gm/Kg and Rhizobium at 10gm/Kg. Gum is used as binding agent; seed is initially coated fungicide followed by PSB and kept for shade dry. Just before going to sow, farmers are advised to coat Rhizobium to the seed.
