Agricultural College, Warangal conducted Diagnostic visit and method demonstration in the Adopted village, Damera on 06-02-2021

Village adoption team, Agricultural College, Warangal conducted diagnostic field visit in the adopted village, Damera on 06.02.2021. Dr.G.Swathi, Smt.M.Harika, Dr.Ch.Anusha and Smt. Ch.Yashaswini visited Paddy, Maize, Carrot and chilli fields in the village. Fall Army Worm incidence was noticed in maize (35-65days) for which method demonstration on installation of pheromone traps@4/acre was done for monitoring and also recommended to spray Emamectin benzoate @0.5ml/lit or Spinosad (Tracer)@0.3ml/lit. The team has noticed stem borer in maize and recommended Chlorantraniliprole@60ml/acre, yellow stem borer in paddy and recommended Cartap hydrochloride@2g/lit, greening in carrot for which earthing up was suggested at the time of top dressing to ensure uniform colour development in carrot.
