Agricultural College, Warangal - National Voters day celebrations on 25.01.2023

Agricultural College, Warangal celebrated 13thNational Voters Day on 25.01.2022. The theme of 13th National Voter’s day was “Making elections inclusive, accessible and participative. The main objective of the program is to educate and encourage young voters to vote during elections. On this occasion, Dr. M. Balram, Associate Dean, explained the importance of the National Voters day celebration is to maximize enrolment especially the new voters. All teaching, non-teaching, out sourcing staff members and students have participated in the event and took pledge on National Voters Day. Later, a song on Voter Awareness developed by Election Commission of India was viewed by all participants.
National Voters Day Pledge:
We, the citizens of India, having abiding faith in democracy, here by pledge to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion , race, caste, community, language or any inducement.
