Launch of AgHub- Rural Innovation Spoke- Jagtial at RARS, Jagtial at PJTSAU

Jagtial, July 8, 2024 - AgHub the innovation centre of Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University operating through its unique innovative Hub & Spoke model, has launched its first Rural Innovation Spoke at the Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS) in Polasa, Jagtial. This inauguration marks a significant milestone in promoting rural innovation and entrepreneurship. The Rural Innovation Spoke was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Ms. Suseela Chintala, Chief General Manager of NABARD, TGRO, along with Dr. Praveen Rao, Director of AgHub and former Vice Chancellor of PJTSAU. Also present were the Guest of Honour, Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy, Registrar of PJTSAU, Dr. R. Kalpana Sastry, Managing Director of AgHub, Mr. Vijay Nadiminti, CEO of AgHub, Dr. G. Sreenivas, ADR of RARS-Jagtial, and other university officers of PJTSAU. The dignitaries praised AgHub's efforts in fostering a culture of innovation in rural areas. The event also featured Rural Innovators, who are incubated with the AgHub Rural Innovation Spoke in Jagtial, giving them a platform to showcase their products and innovations to the dignitaries and stakeholders in attendance. This event provided a platform for distinguished guests to interact with students from PJTSAU, Jagtial, encouraging them to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship. This initiative is expected to significantly impact the local community by providing resources and support to budding entrepreneurs and innovators in the region.
