The NSS unit of Agricultural College, Aswaraopet organized an awareness programme on Anti-corruption in association with NABARD, Khammam and DCCB, Aswaraopet branch on 2nd November 2019 as a part of Central Vigilance Week from 28th October to 2nd November 2019. While addressing the gathering Sri B. Venkateswar Rao, DGM, NABARD, Khammam enlightened the students on anti-corruption measures being taken up by the Govt. of India to combat the corruption viz., digitalization of financial transactions, cashless transactions, online banking services like RTGS, NEFT, UPI etc., besides informing the students about various subsidy schemes being implemented by NABARD. Associate Dean Dr. C. Narendra Reddy also spoken on the occasion and stressed the role of students in making India corruption free. On the occasion, prizes and certificates were also distributed to the students who won 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in Essay writing and drawing competitions. All the staff, students and Sri Anil, Branch Manager, DCCB, Aswaraopet have attended the programme. The programme was coordinated by Dr Kadasiddappa M.M (NSS P.O.) and Sri I Krishnateja, Asst. Professor (Agril. Economics).
