Anti - Ragging Awareness Programme at Agriculture College, Aswaraopet on 23-09-2019

Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme organized in association with Department of Police, Aswaraopet on 23.09.2019 to the students of B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. II, III and Final year. Sri M. Abbaiah, Circle Inspector of Police, Aswaraopet has delivered a talk on Anti-Ragging Act 1997 and informed the students about various activities that comes under the purview of ragging and various punishments to be awarded to each activity besides informing about various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC). Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean of the college, addressed the students on various measures taken up by the college administration to combat ragging in the college/hostel premises.
