ARS, Adilabad - Awareness programme and distribution of inputs to Tribal farmers under ICAR - Education - Implementation of TSP (2022-23) on 21.07.2023

As a part of ICAR - Education - Implementation of Tribal Sub Plan under PJTSAU (2022-23) conducted a ‘Awareness programme on current and emerging seasonal pests and diseases in Cotton and Soybean’ in which Tribal farmers belongs to Utnoor, Ichoda & Sirikonda mandals of Adilabad district were participated on 21.07.2023 at ARS, Adilabad premises. In this programme, Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Pr. Scientist (Agro.) & Head; Dr. K. Rajashekar, Scientist (Entomology) and Dr. D. Mohan Das, Scientist (Agronomy), ARS, Adilabad were participated the occasion. During the Scientist farmers’ interaction, created awareness on current and emerging seasonal pests and diseases in Cotton and Soybean and answered the queries of farmers by the Scientists of the station. Finally, distributed battery operated sprayers to the Tribal farmers (40 nos.) of the above said mandals during the programme.
