Agricultural Research Station, Karimnagar organized demonstration on IPM in Cotton, visit to Minikit Entries and Field Diagnostic Visit at Adopted Village Nagulamallial Village of Kothapally Mandal on 23rd September, 2022. The Principal Scientist (Agro.) and Head, Dr.G.Manjulatha addressed the farmers on the significance of Integrated Pest Management in Cotton. Dr. M.Rajendra Prasad Scientist (TOT) has demonstrated the farmers the various mechanisms of integrated pest management beginning from the installation of pheromone traps, seed treatment, trichocards, stem application, etc. practically in the field of Sri. Nampally Komaraiah. The maize minikits, DHM-182 of Maize Research Centre, Rajendranagar has been visited in the field of Sri Uppu Shekar and the crop is good and is at hard dough stage and there is infestation of cob borer. Field Diagnostic Visits were taken up in cotton, maize and paddy and the need based suggestions for the control were given to the farmers. The Agricultural Extension Officer, Sri Lalitha, Village Representatives, Sarpanch Sri. Nayani Prasad and around 50 farmers participated in the programme.
