Agricultural Research Station, Karimnagar organized Training Programme on Rabi maize management practices and specialty corns cultivation and Input Distribution to the ST farmers on 8th September, 2022 at Bakurupally thanda, Racharla thimmapur revenue village, Yellareddy pet mandal, Rajanna siricilla District. Dr.K.Madan Mohan Reddy, Scientist (TOT) welcomed the dignitaries on the dias. The Principal Scientist (Agro.) and Hea,d Dr. G. Manjulatha, ARS, Karimnagar addressed the gathering and briefed the research, teaching and extension mandate of PJTSAU and research station activities carried out at Agricultural Research Station and hybrids released from the research station. Later, in the technical session, Dr.D.Sravani, Scientist (Pl.Br) explained Specialty Corns Cultivation and Dr.P.Madhukar Rao, Scientist (Agro.) explained the rabi maize management practices Dr.K.Madan Mohan Reddy, Scientist (TOT) created awareness on PJTSAU You tube subscription to the farmers. District Agriculture Officer, Sri. Ranadheer , Rajanna Siricilla emphasized the farmers to go for crop diversification and advised to utilize the Karimnagar makka-1 seed and Tarpaulin in efficient manner. In the programme, the maize hybrid seed, Karimnagar Makka-1,along with tarpaulins were distributed to 125 ST farmers. Sri. Bhoom Reddy Agriculture officer, Yellareddy Pet , District Rytu bandu coordinator Sri.G.Narsimhulu, Agriculture market committee chairman, Sri.K.Ramesh goud, ZPTC, Ch. Laxman, MPP, P.Renuka, Village sarpanch , Smt. Manjula Rju naik and about 150 village farmers participated in this programme.
