ARS, Karimnagar organized Training Programme on Good Agriculture practices for Kharif maize production and Input Distribution to the ST farmers on 23 rd June, 2023 under tribal sub plan

Agricultural Research Station, Karimnagar organized Training Programme on Good agriculture practices for Kharif maize production and distribution of inputs to the ST farmers of Guntapally cheruvu thanda, Yellareddy pet mandal, Rajanna siricilla District. Dr.K.Madan Mohan Reddy , Scientist (TOT) welcomed the dignitaries on the Dias. Dr. D. Sravani, Scientist (Plant Breeding) addressed the gathering and briefed about the TSP programme, and research activities carried out at Agricultural Research Station and characters of hybrids released from the research station. Later, Dr.P.Madhukar Rao, Scientist (Agro.) explained the Kharif maize management practices . Dr.K.Madan Mohan Reddy , Scientist (TOT) explained about PJTSAU you-tube subscription and alternate crops to paddy. Sri.V. Bhaskar, District Agriculture Officer, Rajanna-Siricilla district advised the farmers to go for crop diversification and advised to utilize the Karimnagar makka-1 seed and Tarpaulin in efficient manner. Sri. Bhoomi Reddy, Agriculture officer , Smt.Sunitha punyanayak, Village sarpanch, Smt.Renuka kishan MPTC, Ch.Laxman Rao, ZPTC, Smt.Padma, AO, Agriculture Extension officers of Yellareddy pet mandal and about 90 village farmers participated in this programme. Inputs Karimnagar makka-1 seed and Tarpaulin distributed to beneficiaries.
