Awareness programme on Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) and exposure visit to Laxmipoor Farmer Producer Company by RARS, Polasa, Jagtial on 30-10-2021
- Awareness programme on Farmer Producer Organisation and exposure visit to Laxmipoor Farmer Producer Company was conducted to the adopted village farmers, Veldurthy on 30.10.2021.
- The programme was organized by Smt. D.A. Rajini Devi, Scientist (Ag. Economics) and briefed about the formation and advantages of Farmer Producer Organisation. Later, distributed information material to the farmers.
- P. Sadvi, Scientist (Ag. Extension) created awareness on alternate crops to rice in yasangi and distributed information material.
- Tirupathi, Chairman and Tirupathy Reddy, Vice-Chairman of Laxmipoor Farmer Producer Company explained about the activities of FPC and clarified the adopted village farmers queries regarding functioning of FPC.
- Later, Ground nut cultivated by drip irrigation method, Banana and Turmeric fields were visited.
- In this programme, D.A. Rajini Devi, Scientist (Ag. Economics), P. Sadvi, Scientist (Ag. Extension), Tirupathi, Chairman, Tirupathy Reddy, Vice-Chairman, Board of Directors of Laxmipoor Farmer Producer Company and 20 farmers participated.
