Awareness programme on Anti-ragging at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 21-09-2019

An awareness programme was organized on Anti-ragging to B.Sc(Hons.) Agriculture students to create awareness on ragging act and the consequences of the ragging and also importance of SHE Team by the concerned police department officials of Sircilla at Agricultural College Sircilla on 21.09.2019. The chief guest Sri. P. Mallesh goud garu, Sub-Inspector of police addressed the students on the importance of ragging act and also activities under ragging act and he explained about the consequences of the ragging such as fines and imprisonment and other aspects of penalties under ragging of different nature. He also advised the students not to involve on such type of activities in the college as well as hostels for the smooth running in the college and to probe cordial relationship with the students and among themselves. Associate Dean of the college expressed expressed his sincere thanks to the police department for accepting our invitation to come over here and explaining about the ragging act and consequences of ragging.
