Awareness programme on crop planning for Kharif, 2020 organised by KVK, Palem on 29-05-2020

KVK, Palem organized awareness programme to farmers on "Crop Planning for Kharif, 2020" on 29.05.2020 at Maddigatla village of Boothpur Mandal in collaboration with Buddaram Framers Producers Company. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem createed awareness on summer ploughing, soil testing, organic manuring, green manuring and also discussed about kharif crop planning. Mr. M. Rajashekhar, SMS (Entomology) explained about suitable crops & varieties for kharif rice and redgram cultivation. Sri. Venkat Reddy Chairman and coordinators of Buddaram Framers Producers Company distributed rice seed (Var. Telangana Sona) purchased from KVK, Palem. Officials from NGO and 40 farmers participated in the programme.
