Awareness programme on "KILL CANCER" at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 23-09-2019

As part of National Service Scheme (NSS), with great initiative of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Kukatpally, Hyderabad, an awareness programme on Cancer (elocution competition) was conducted to students of Agricultural College, Sircilla on 23-09-2019. The Associate Dean, Dr. G. Samuel gave a brief idea on the theme of the programme. Eight student volunteers participated in the competition. The participants spoke on cancer, its types, causes for its occurrence, prevention or cure of cancer and role of students in creating awareness about cancer among the community. The competition gave a lot of awareness to the performers and to all the staff and students present in the programme. The NSS Programme Officer, Dr. R. Sathish and OISA, Mr. T. Arunbabu organized the programme. The teaching staff, Dr. M. Shanti, Dr. K. Rajesh, Ms. Sunitha, Mr. Sai Krishna Reddy and I & II years students of B. Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture participated in the programme.
