Celebration of “Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” at Agricultural College, Jagtial, PJTSAU on 12-03-2021

On the occasion of “Azaadi ka Amruth Mahotsav” NSS Units, Agricultural College, Jagtial conducted a programme on the eve of Dandi march starting day i.e 12th March.The event began with the welcome address by Dr. D. Karthik NSS Programme officer invited the dignitaries and said that the country is going to celebrate the occasion of dandi march 75 years of Independence with grandeur and enthusiasm.In-charge Associate Dean Dr. K. Chandrasaker said that the Dandi march festival of 75 years of independence should be one such festival, in which the spirit of freedom struggle, tribute to the martyrs and their pledge to create India, could be experienced. OSA Dr. O. Sampath in his address explained about the importance of Dandi march and emphhasized the need to honour and take the stories of lesser known freedom fighters to people. He said every nook and corner of the country is replete with the sacrifice of sons and daughters of the country and their stories will be an eternal source of inspiration for the nation. In the end of the programme NSS officer A. Umarajashekhar given vote of thanks and said we have to bring the contribution of every section to the fore. There are people who are performing some great work for the country for generations, their contribution, thinking and ideas need to be integrated with the national efforts. In the starting of the programme Inaugral session of “aazadi ka amruth mahotsav” by prime minister Shri. Narendra Modi was showed to the students and also some patriotic videos was played through the virtual mode in virtual class room. All the teaching non-teaching and students were participated in this programme with an enthusiastic manner.
