Bathukamma celebrations at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 30.09.2022

Bathukamma festival was celebrated at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 30.09.2022 at 5 pm as a part of the state festival without causing any disturbance to regular classes. All the students, teaching, non-teaching and out sourcing staff enthusiastically participated in the celebrations. The students prepared attractive Bathukammas with different flowers like gunugu, rudraksha, thangedu, teak flowers, banthi and chamanthi. All the staff and students actively participated by singing folk songs, clapping hands with synchronizing steps and revolving round the Bathukamma. The songs invoked to the hearts of all the members present there. The teachers recollected their childhood days and enjoyed the festival with same enthusiasm and zeal. All the staff thanked the students for their support and cooperation in making the programme a grand success. At the end Bathukamma was immersed in the near by water pond.
