Dr. Babu Jagjeevan Ram Birth Anniversary was celebrated at Agricultural Polytechnic and Agricultural Research Station, Kampasagar on 05.04.2022. Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi, Principal, Dr. N. Lingaiah, Sr. Scientist (Pl. Br.) and Head, ARS, Kampasagar, Dr. V. Sridhar, Scientist (Pl. Br.), Mrs. G. Swathi, Assistant Professor (Horti), Mr. V. Narsing Rao, Superintendent, Mr. M. Parusharamulu, Sr, Assistant, M. Shekar Reddy, Physical Director, and Diploma I and II year students and contract labour have participated in the Programme. Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi said that Jagjivan Ram, popularly known as Babuji was a national leader, a freedom fighter, a crusader of social justice, an outstanding parliamentarian and a union minister. Babu Jagjeevan Ram was not just a politician, he dedicated most of his life fighting for bringing out voices of the oppressed castes of the country and for the freedom of India.
