BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla - 9th University foundation day celebrations on 03-09-2023

The 9th Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) foundation day was celebrated with teaching, non-teaching, out-sourcing staff and the students of the college on 03.09.2023 at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla. The programme was started with the brief introduction and the significance of the day by Dr. D. Kumara Swamy, OISA. The Associate Dean in-charge, Dr. Razia Sultana of the college paid floral tributes to Sri. Kothapalli Jayashankar garu and Babu Jagjivan Ram garu followed by University song. While speaking on the occasion, the Associate Dean i/c enlightened the importance of the University foundation day and has stated that the University has put special focus on Agricultural Education, Research and Extension, and that it has developed technologies and new varieties which would suitable for the state at larger area. She further stated that University is striving hard to provide International quality infrastructure and education to the students. She also added that University has bagged many awards on the National level and International recognition in providing the Agricultural education, Research and Extension. She urged that all the students and staff of the University have to work cooperatively for the common goal of the University.
