Birth Anniversary Celebration of Mahatama Gandhi at Agricultural College, Adilabad on 02.10.2024

Mahatama Gandhi 155th birth anniversary was celebrated at Agricultural College, Adilabad on 02.10.2024. As a part of programme Dr. G. Anitha, Associate Professor (Entomology), Ag. College, Adilabad garlanded the photo of Mahatma Gandhi and paid floral tributes. Later teaching, non-teaching, outsourcing staff and students were offered floral tribute paid homage to the father of the Nation. Dr. M. Suresh, OISA remembered that, the day was also celebrated as the International Day of Non Violence as per the UN General Assembly declared during 2007. He has highlighted the contributions of the father of the nation to attain the independence with non violence as the core. He also remembered that, the path showed by Mahatma Gandhi in attaining India’s freedom was very much appreciated across the globe over the years as a rare example. Later Dr. G. Anitha, Associate Professor (Entomology), Ag. College, Adilabad briefed about Bapuji and his battle against Britishers during Indian freedom fight. All Teaching staff, Teaching Associates namely J. Rakesh, K. Mounika, Ms. J. Haripriya and Ch Saikiran expressed their views. Students also expressed their gratitude towards the Babuji, The programme was ended with vote of thanks by OISA.
