Celebrations of Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur on 02-10-2020

151st Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated at College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur, Nizamabad District. As part of the celebrations, on 01-10-2020, a yoga programme was organized for the all the teaching, non-teaching and outsourcing staff of college on 1st October 2020. The programme was started with welcome address by Smt. M. Prashanthi, Assistant Professor & OISA. Er. G. Rajendar, Assistant Professor & Officer In-Charge of NSS, Dept of Food process Engineering, garlanded the image of Gandhiji, paid tributes and addressed the gathering regarding. All the teaching, non-teaching, and outsourcing staff paid the tributes to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhiji. As part of celebrations, plantation was done in the college. About ten plant saplings were planted in the college premises. After plantation, the programme was continued with 5K walkathon during which all the teaching, non-teaching and outsourcing staff walked from the college to Akbarnagar by saying slogans related to health and exercises. In this regard, online painting competition was also conducted to the students of CFST, Rudrur and received them. All the protocols of Corona virus (COVID 19) were strictly followed during the event. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs. Prashanthi Meda, OISA, CFST, Rudrur.
