Celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at Agricultural College Aswaraopet on 31-10-2019

The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National unity day) is celebrated on 31-10-2019 at Agricultural college, Aswaraopet to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sri. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who really unified the country. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day was introduced by the Government of India in 2014 with the aim of celebrating this event every year on 31st October. This year’s theme of National Unity Day was “Bring the Nation Together, United in Times of Strife and Rising Extremism”. On this occasion Dr.C.Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean of the college addressed the gathering, paid the tributes to Sri. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and inspired the gathering with his valuable speech regarding the importance of the unity and integrity of the nation. Later on the Associate Dean, NSS PO’s, Teaching staff, non teaching staff and the students of the college delivered the pledge of unity.
