On this occasion, all the teaching and non-teaching staff gathered at the building at 9:30 a.m. The celebrations began with play of university song and then garlanding Sri. Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar's photo. The event was headed by Dr. R. Swamy, Associate Dean, College of Food Science & Technology, Rudrur. Then, unfurling of the flag was done by the Associate Dean, CFST, Rudrur. Associate Dean, who headed the programme, presided over the function and delivered speech on Telangana movement, and achievements of Telangana after bifurcation. He briefed some of the achievements of Telangana State after bifurcation including Kaleswaram Project, Mission Bageeratha, etc. He emphasized that one of the achievements after bifurcation is establishment of College of Food Science and Technology. He encouraged all the staff to be responsible in each and every activity and to work for the institute. All the suggested precautionary measures for prevention of Covid-19 were followed such as wearing face masks, maintaining physical distance, etc. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs. Prashanthi Meda, Assistant Professor and OISA, CFST, Rudrur and then followed by serving of refreshments to the participants.
