Acharya Kothapalli Jayashankar Jayanthi Celebrations at College of Community Science, Saifabad, PJTSAU, Hyderabad on 06-08-2023

The College of Community Science celebrated the birth anniversary of the esteemed Professor Jayashankar with great enthusiasm and reverence on 6th August, 2023. All the teaching, non-teaching staff, UG, PG and Ph.D students gathered at indoor auditorium, College of Community Science for the Jayanthi celebrations of the veteran leader. The under graduate students of B.Sc (Hons.) Community Science , Ms. Sravani anchored the programme, Ms. Khushi, spoke about life history of Prof. Jayashankar and Ms. Keerthana, delivered a Telugu speech about key contributions of Prof. Jayashankar in Telangana freedom struggle. Later floral tributes were paid by Dr. V.Vijaya Lakshmi, Dean and Associate Dean, College of Community Science, Dr. P.Sreedevi, OISA, College of Community Science, all the Heads of the departments, teaching and non teaching staff and students. Thus, the event served as a reminder of invaluable contributions of Prof. Jayashankar and inspired the students and faculty to continue his legacy in transforming lives through education and community development.
