The NSS Unit of Agricultural College, Jagtial has organized the “Clean India Programme” on 29th October, 2021. As part of the cleanliness drive, NSS Programme Officers organized the programme. Dr. S. Narender Reddy, Associate Dean started the event and emphasised the importance of cleanliness in our lives. Maintaining a clean environment is required for all humans, as their health completely depends upon the surroundings. We should maintain the environment and natural resources together in order to make it possibility for the existence of life forever on the earth. Dr. O. Sampath, Asst. Professor (Agronomy), OISA expressed his views on Clean India Programme, ‘If each citizen becomes responsible and could show the same care that is taken for home and workplace, then the city and the entire country would have a clean environment to live, work and play. All the Students, Teaching, Non-teaching staff and NSS volunteers involved themselves in cleaning of the college premises with enthusiasm. All the participants expressed their joy and delight to be a part in Clean India Programme. The programme was coordinated by NSS Programme officers Dr.D.Karthik, Mr. A.Umarajashehar and Dr.G.Satyanarayana Reddy and staff members.
