Clean India Programme observed at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 22-10-2021
Celebrating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav — Clean India Programme at District level from 1st to 31st October. As a part of it, the NSS wing has organized Clean India Awareness Rally, Cleaning and Collection of SUP (Single Use Plastic) waste at college building on 22.10.2021, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar. The programme is graced by Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, created awareness to the students as well as staff on importance of making Clean India a single-use plastic free Nation and urged to come forward with alternatives of SUP to usage of biodegradable material, and also ways of improving plastic waste management. Later the students, NSS Programme officers have actively participated in cleaning and collection of Single Use Plastic found in and around the college premises.
